I'm thinking about buying a PC machine and I have seen complete kits being advertised on http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/polishing-machine/cat_17.html - here.

My question is which kit would be the best one to buy for a first attempt at using a PC with polishes?

There are various combinations of pad and polishes but which would be the best one to go for?

Menzerna polish or Sonus polish?

Menzerna pads or Sonus SFX pads or Meguiars pads or Sonus DAS pads?

I want to be able to remove light swirls and a few wee scratches from my Titanium Silver E60 and of course get a great mirror like finish on it.

Any thoughts anyone

Have a look on the Polished Bliss website, where they have a http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/meguiars-g220-dual-action-polishing-machine-polish.html - Meguiars Polisher.

Loads of other polishing goodies on their website, plus loads of advice

Righto e-mailed PB and they gave me some really good tips on what products to use etc.

I'm going to need to wait till a certain cheque from a certain BMW dealer clears before making a payment!

Insurance costs on the temporary vehicle not anything else!

Cheers for the nod Nero!

I haven't seen Porter Cables for sale now.  They seem to have been overtaken by UDM's and now the Megs one.
