I'm sure I was told about a place in Glasgow area that breaks bmws/second hand part or did I dream it.
help, anyone!

some sod broke parts when I dismantled the interior a while back now in need of to finish, mostly clips and the likes but I'm also after the centre console section around the gearlever that includes ashtray and storage with titanium cover.

while I'm here, one option for the cover in the oe parts catalogue was "nussbaum" does anyone know what finish that is or better still have a picture

One of my mates told me about a BMW breakers in Glasgow but he didn't know where it was, we both hunted mags, yellow pages and what not.

Cheers Rossi for the heads up.

Need to pop in and see them for a rear view mirror anyway.

I wasn't going to spoil the thread, but I've had similar experiences.  I'll not be phoning them again, no matter how much I need the bit, there's always someone who has it and who knows how to behave.  It's not M-Tek though.

Hmm was going to pay them a visit to get wiring loom bits for my E60 but I'm not so sure now.

I'm going to build my own towbar wiring loom so I need extra connectors which I could rob off any E60 wiring loom.

Nothing like personal experiences to go on.

Andrew

I don't really think they know much about BMW's. They tried to diagnose the gearbox on mine years ago and didn't really have a clue. I took it elsewhere.

Idiots!
