Hello everyone...

Hoping to pick up my first BMW this evening... Just waiting for the
confirmation from the garage that it's ready!

1996 323i Coupe, Silver, 134k, bodywork & interior in lovely condition

Always wanted a BMW 3 series coupe... not had the money for it though lol... finally made the decision after my Ford Puma died and I found this one in really good condition for a decent price!

I don't know much about BMWs... so sorry in advance if I ask a lot of
dumb questions in the future.

Just hoping the car doesn't fall apart on me once I'm away from the
garage

Cheers,

Derek

Yo Dunc...

I tried uploading a couple of pics... but it wouldn't let me... it let me upload to the gallery, but then when I tried to apply the pics to my gallery it just said "The previous file could not be placed. You have successfully placed all the files"... but there aren't any files when you look at the gallery...

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

Derek

Thanks for posting the pics Dunc!

I have a question relating to my insurance - does anyone know if those
alloys are BMW/Standard/Upgrades/Non-BMW mod???

My insurance have told me that if they are non-BMW they won't be covered
by the policy - which I assume means they won't pay out for damage to the
alloys.... weird!

i'm afraid they're definately not standard bmw ones, best check with your insurance that they know about them and they don't invalidate the policy even if they aren't covered

nice car btw

Cool - thanks Stephen.

They said that they just wouldn't cover the alloys on the policy but the rest
of the car was fine!

I wonder how they work it out if you crash your car because of a wheel
falling off lol.... an accident caused by a non-insured part on your car!!!

that's a very good point...

hypothetically speaking the uninsured wheel wouldn't have momentum to fall off and hit anything at speed without being moved by the insured car, wonder if that would stand up in court?
