having just spoken to Tony who organises Culzean, he says he is willing to take a late club entry if you contact him within the next three days.

Hope you can sort something and we will see you all there.

Cheers

I'd be up for this.

Is this something we get done Tommy or are we pushing it?

Given that this is a massive event I think it would be quite good PR for the club

Do you all think we should take the BBQ to this one? I have juice n crisps and gas (not the Jemma kind ) left from gaydon but was wondering if you all are getting fed up of burgers? Would you prefer cold meat for a change? I must admit I enjoyed the bacon this time cooked properly . So Guys let me know your thoughts Im happy to organise.

Cheers

having spoken to the organiser there are too many entrants for the concours. Apparently they can only cope with 25. (What would the CC do if we followed this pattern?)

Anyway there is to be pre judging at 10am and the 25 will be picked from there. So it looks like an early bath for the two 323is.

It's like an Apprentice for car clubs, I like it.
your car's 5h1t so you're outahere.
ask the organisers if I can announce the cut I'd probably get carried away and end wie 5 cars left.

one thing ye can virtually guarantee a Beemer would win, no sorry not you, you're cut

cheers - depends what the day's like. Given that rare item of a nice day, we'll stay and join you.

We don't know what we're up against yet. I imagine there will be the usual Brit crap of Stags and MGBs as well as perhaps a few more exotic motors. They are the type the organisers are hoping to attract. if so I would think these creatures will be trailored in and have nice painted undersides unlike ours which get driven to events and have seen a few miles; both now have well over a 100k each on the clock.

Ahhh well time will tell.

correct me if I'm wrong folks, Culzean Autoclassica is the replacement event for the now defunct Calendar Classic Car Show.
It gives us one last chance in the year to abuse Gary whilst enjoying some bacon butties and burgers

the car got a quick lick because I was due to clean my old mans motor, front end was clayed and waxed before I hit a snag with the clay. I could only manage one wheel after that, it's started to rain and I'm stiff as old nick

I'm getting too old for this 5h1t, see you all tomorrow at Monkton.

cracking day again big thanks to Caroline, Issy and the girls for a fantastic feed again. I'm burnt to a crisp again, it's ok though alcohol will dull the pain

FAO the Zed owners in the club you all know who you are, are you all trying out for a job wie the red arrows with the formation 3 point turns and loop the loop roundabouts

David, Alyx caroline and I enjoyed our day immensely.

My personal thanks go to the girls who managed to master the BBQ (after all, BBQ is a mans domain!!)

The cars looked stunning even after that crappy wee waterlogged lane they made us drive down and the ploughed up field we had to drive through to get to our pitch. ( Thanks go to David and Alyx who dutifully cleaned my car)

There were new faces and old but the craic was brilliant as usual.

I did feel sorry for young Paul who didn't manage to meet up with the convoy and Tommy had to make a difficult (but correct) decision to let his position go to the 1st standby. Please try again Paul, just git oot yer bed a wee bit earlier matie !!

Don't worry Campbell, I think for the next event I'll tent on site the night before. then I'll know I'm ready. the better car definitely went in though. I need some m-tech toys. Seeing how clean Stevie's car was makes me want mine as clean. damned 4.00 per hour!!
