A few of us were talking today about possibly doing an overnighter on the Saturday before the Aberdeen Mega Meet. we seemed to get some good initial interest for this so I'm going to have a look at some hotels that could possibly fit the bill.
the idea is to meet somewhere central i.e Perth and have a leisurely and scenic drive on the Saturday to the hotel, get settled and freshened up. A spot of dinner and a few relaxing sherries. On the Sunday we can make our way to the meet venue relaxed and refreshed. afterwards we can we possibly do another scenic run on the way home if you want or we can just push on home. the idea is that you won't have the long return trip to do on the same day and you can get to know fellow members better over a beer or 2

Yeah but I have family up in Ellon so I would stay there.

this isn't dead and buried yet, we're hoping to have accommodation agreed soon.
