e39 reverse lights

can anyone tell me where the fuse for the reverse lights is located on a 98 e39 523i, and possibly what is making my reverse lights fail???

On the underside of the fuse box lid, there should be a list of fuses, plus a layout of them.

Could also be a switch, or even the bulbs themselves! Check the fuse first though as that is easiest.

Looking at it the brake lights appear to be th only ones not served by the Light Control Module. Assuming that to be the case, then your issue would probably be with the wiring or switch.
Could it be crappy bulbs either?
