Hello folks, since becoming a site sponsor/supporter i have been hoping to show you some of my work on BMW's however sods law i have been detailing everything but BMW's.

Anyway hope you dont mind but heres a golf i detailed a while back, shamelessly copied from write up on Detailing World.

Rich the owner contacted me a while ago about a paint correction detail and mentioned he'd had a go at the car with an electric/orbital polisher and it hadnt gone well.

He wasnt joking as when i went to inspect the car it was covered in hologrammes/buffer trails/swirls more on them later.

On arrival

No pics of wash stage as i wanted to crack on.

The defects highlighted by sun gun and spot lamps.

As you see quite a mess, after much testing of pad and polish combo's i found menz was playing ball so settled on IP3.02 on the older megs polishing pads as im not really a fan of the new bigger versions.

A few 50/50s

Front wing before

And after(still to be refined)

Some nice flake

Some panels required a couple hits to acheive desired results and all refined with 85rd on megs finishing pad

Then an ipa wipedown followed to remove any remaining residue/polishing oils, inspected again and i was pleased with the results.

Blackfire midnight sun was applied as requested and usaul finishing jobs completed ie tyre dressed with blackfire etc etc.

Which left the car looking like this

The owner was delighted and although i commend him having ago at correcting his car i recommended he got plenty more practise on scrap
panels :buffer:

Total time 30hrs over 3 days.

Thanks for looking.

Rgds
