I went down to Duxford on sunday to join the Car club guys from that area at the Duxford classic car show. Had a great day.

On the BMW stand were these two, unusual to see one let alone two together      , very tasty, mmmhh

very unusual indeed, like buses you wait ages to see one and two come along at once

I recognise the one in the foreground - pretty sure it's 'Lucy' in Madiera Violet.  The other one is new to me; what colour is it?  It looks green from where I'm sitting.

The B8 Touring is one of the most practical all-round motors and a debadged one is the ultimate sleeper

Sorry about the poor picture quality, my camera seems to have devoloped a fault with its over exposure compensation.  It was very sunny so my pics turned out a little pale.

Yes Chas, the nearest one is Madiera and the owner lives in the South East. The other one is green and belongs to his friend who is English but lives in Luxembourg ( hence the different plates ).

The chap with the Madiera one had a Porche turbo so was going to sell the Alpina earlier this year but after a trip to Le Mans in it he couldn't part with it so the Poker had to go. Says it all really

Here's a slightly better pic of the green one.

I think I know that one too.  Does it have a green leather interior?
