i have noticed that occasionally when i arrive at work and get my stuff out of the boot, there is swirls of water on the battery cover..not very much but i need to find it. cant see anything obvious , i have felt under the window, boot hinge etc...any ideas? ------------- 88 E30 M3 fast(er than it was, ta Shep and Grant) and a k8 2008 busa...faster still (focus RS gone to good home - but never forgotton, eh Shep) |

boot lock catch loose (doesn't close the lid tight enough)
rear light rubber seal the two most common causes ------------- E61 520d, slow and buzzy but my wallet likes the mpg..... |

Yep 2nd the light seals Changed the rear lamps on mine and developed puddles in both rear wells , turned out to be the lamp seals. Replacement seals are available seperately part no 63211370679 Andy -------------

and the answer is......yes i think so! i changed the gasket for a new one, emptied the fish from under the battery and it seems ok now!..Posted By: thepits
