Well I'm afraid to say that the quiz is wrong.

It says that number 72 is Audi, when in fact its Auto Union !

Audi do not have a badge of their own that I've ever seen

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auto_Union - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auto_Union

And here you have a load of DKW cars sporting what is often thought of the Audi badge :

Oh its good to be a smart arse

If we're using wikipedia as a reference then:
Quote The company is headquartered in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingolstadt" title="Ingolstadt - Ingolstadt , Germany and has been a wholly-owned (99.55%) subsidiary of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Group" title="Volkswagen Group - Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen AG) since 1964. Volkswagen Group relaunched the Audi brand with the 1965 introduction of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_F103" title="Audi F103 - Audi 60 range . Shortly thereafter the name was acquired as part of Volkswagen's purchase of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auto_Union" title="Auto Union - Auto Union assets from former owner, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daimler-Benz" title="Daimler-Benz - Daimler-Benz .

If VW own both AU and Audi and VW want the rings to be Audi's logo then I guess Audi has a logo!

The point is, the badge does not mean Audi, it means auto union.

On that quiz you lose points for getting the answer correct !

Splitin hairs there Nigel, the showroom's all over the planet (which all have the 4 rings logo above the door) are called Audi, not Auto Union, i get your point right enough, but do you say "nice audi" or "Nice auto union car" when you see one that takes your fancy
