Discovered today i have a rear spring broken on my car  so had been thinking for a while to lower the car anyway & now would be an ideal oppertunity to do so

Couple of questions on my mind :-

1) How low would be O.K whithout making it look "Chav" ? ( not got my copy of "Clubland 19999" yet anyway !!!!)

2) Recomendations of places in Central Scotland to supply & fit ? ( As mentioned in a previous post "Drivers" Glasgow look not a bad bet? )

3) A rough cost for said work ?

Comments please

*NOTE :- For those "Younger" people on the forum wondering what a "Zebidy" was please ask your mum or dad   *

I had Eibach Sportline springs on my old E46 coupe Tommy and it just sat nice.

Fitting is free if you can make it to Kilwinning.

Nice one John  Which size springs did you get ? ( Lower by 20mm / 25mm e.c.t ?) might take you up on the trip over to Kilwinning .

I'd consider an Eibach kit.. Either the pro kit or http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/category_results.mhtml?category=eibachsportlinesprings;car=bmw3e46;manufacturer=eibac;sub_category=1 - Sportline kit
the http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/category_results.mhtml?category=eibachprokitsprings;car=bmw3e46;manufacturer=eibac;sub_category=1 - Pro kit will be more subtle lowering Lowers Front: 25 mm Rear: 10 mm
And the Sportline kit will drop it Front: 30-35 mm Rear: 15 mm.
Rough cost of labour and alignment I would expect to pay about 2/3 hours labour?!
