what year is it - reason i ask is there are 2 types of plugs for your car. you'll need to check if you have a round pin plug or square pin plug

Sorry Eamo its the cover plate or somthing like that i need have stereo fitted but big hole left in pannel where old stereo was its the 96 E39 523i thanks guys for your help
