Right, for those folks who are travelling down to Gaydon on the Friday, I'm in the process of arranging a tour of the MINI Factory at Oxford for the Saturday morning. I know it's not a proper BMW but when I went there in April, actually seeing how they are put together was amazing and I thought some of you might like it.

There are a maximum number of 25 people per tour, and the price is between £12 and £15, but I think most of it goes to charity anyway.

Here's a  link to a PDF file that tells you all about the tour at Plant Oxford.... http://www.bmweducation.co.uk/coFacts/linkDocs/PLANT_TOURS_V3.pdf - MINI Tour Info

So if you're travelling down on the Friday....(Issy, Tommy, Stevie,John (Bluebro), John (Bigsix), Davy Tombstone, Graham Tait, Colin Durham jnr and Graeme(Ham) ...so far) If you would like to go along Please put your name down bellow...

Update 21/6/10

That's me just had the confirmation from MINI for the tour on the morning of the Saturday 14th August. That's it booked,
I've booked 7 places just incase there's an extra person fancies it at last minute. The cost of the tour is £15 each, I can either get the money from you next time i see you, or before we go for the tour, which ever, as long as I have it before we get there.

Good stuff guys, the funny bit is, the first part of the tour is the Bodyshop, welding and robots and lots of noise! That'll test out the soar heads!!

I'll see if we can get you on a Corona/Leffie drip Stevie!!

Keeps the names coming guys....

Oh you bunch of Bar stewards, I'm really jealous of this.

Next year will be a no-no, due to some clown planning his
wedding day on the 6th of August!

I'm sure you'll have a ball though,

Paul, i'm going to take my name off the list for the time being.

I fancy it but i was thinking that Saturday is prob the only day from the Sunday before Gaydon to the Sunday after that i wont have to be up before 6 am, so i'll probably take advantage and have a long lie. (My long lie's usually run beyond midday  )

If i'm up and about in time and there is the possibility of making my mind up on the day i might still go, but i don't want to commit to going then let you down at the last minute.

Not a problem folks, I hope those who went enjoyed the experience of seeing a car being built from scratch. If anyone would like to go in the future, I would be happy to arrange this. Anyway, here's a couple of photos from my phone(forgot to take my camera)
