As mentioned previously, there is another prize to be awarded for the SnS day and that is the Photo Competition prize. In keeping with the SnS theme, the prize is a Camera Support Kit, which contains cleaner, brush, cloth etc to keep your camera clean. In addition, to the kit, there is also a book "Classics in Colour - BMW" - colour, data and detail on 4 decades of BMW cars What I'd like you to do is submit up to 5 photos from the day. What I'm looking for is something that reflects the day, so the photo doesn't need to be technically brilliant - but it may help. Please post your entries by next Monday (19th July) I will pick a winner next Tuesday Good Luck  -------------  |

A big thank you to all who entered the competition - there were a lot of great entries and it was hard to choose the winner. For a bit of impartiality, I asked my son for a 2nd opinion and we both agreed on the same top 3, but different order. Anyway after some discussion we decided upon the following ... 1st. Webdunk - Got you in my sights... We both liked this one. The 50/50 split of in focus/out of focus (bokeh) shows off Issy's car really well.  2nd. Bluebro - IT'S SUCH A PERFECT DAY, I'M GLAD I SPENT IT WITH YOU! Really nice colours on this picture. We felt that it might have been a bit better if the photo was taken from a bit further to the right, so that the cars could be seperated a bit more. 3rd. Webdunk - Judgement A cracking candid photo, it's a pity that Paul's face is slightly obscured by Hamish's hand - again maybe a slightly different angle of shooting the photo may have overcome this.  Well done to Duncan - I'll get the prize to you at the next meet. ------------- |
