Hi guys I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.
I have a 1978 e24 633csi and have just finished off the body work including full respray so car looks the biss but there is a few minor problems with the electrics so I am looking for someone based in Dublin to have a look and sort it out, at the same time I am looking to get an alarm fitted so please advise me if anyone knows of someone suitable.
Thanks in advance,
Niall.

Aaah - my favourite car of all time.  One Day.  Wishing you every luck with it Niall.

I can't help with a reference to an "Auto Electrician", other than that several advertise in Golden Pages, etc under that title.

The more recent Bimmers can suffer from poor quality wiring insulation, more prone to fracture in cold times.

You could try Hamiltons Auto Electricians. They are very competant.
