OOOH im all exited !! i got a new digi camera for xmas ( gna keep this one away from the dog !!!) i want to attach a pic of my cars to my sig

the pic must be online somewhere (your ISP often gives free web space)

To insert the pic into your sig you use the forum code
and this will show your picture. To get the full address of a pic on the internet, right-click and select 'properties'. Then double click the address to select it and when selected then right click and choose copy.

so ive signed up with photobucket , i have to start a photo album there

 once ive dun that , i take it i have to copy and paste the pic address then just copy it into my sig space , is that right ?

 im a bit blonde when it comes to computers , ive only had one for 6 months so its all new to me !! im learning but sadly my brain isnt as quick as my laptop !

The real easy answer to this is to e-mail the piccy you want to webdunk.

He will only be getting drunk and enjoying himself if you dont give him something to do !

Killian is also very good at this sort of stuff but seems to be keeping quiet about that lol

 cheers 4 that dude ! it worked . the only problem ive got now is the size of the pic im trying it with , when it came up it took up the whole screen . ive tried making it smaller on the photobucket site , but it duznt affect it when its used as a sig !!!

 this is getting complicated now ! i should stick to brain surgery its much easier !!!

What camera did father christmas bring you?

I've only got a £50 digital dream, it works but thats about all.

I did consider asking santa, but he brought me a radio controlled stealth bomber, so not all bad lol

he bought me the new kodak easy share ! i havnt asked him how much it cost yet ! it seems to take really good quality pics tho ! full of features ( none of which i will ever use ) !!

 the camera itself is dead easy to use , so is putting them on my laptop ! its just the rest of it cant get past my blonde hair ! derrrrrrr !!

it was as posted , but to reduce the size of the pic , i went into my pictures , right clicked on the desired pic and selected edit .

 i then went to stretch/ skew in the image toolbar and reduced it to 10% on both , i saved it and sent it to my photobucket album . then copy and pasted the url to my pbmw sig . voilaa . 

 i tried to change my avitar , but havnt been that good yet !! that bloody blonde thing again !!!

Nigel: I may be good at this sort of stuff (thanks) but unfortunatley I was staying with my out-laws in Northern Ireland (IIRC the place with most BMWs per 1000 people in europe outsite of Germany)

daddy_cool: Nice cars! Further to Sohlman's message, open up the image in a graphics program (whatever is on your system) There should be a way to resize the image. The avatars are 64 pixels by 64 pixels (a pixel is onbe of the small dots on your screen (look really really close!). Save the resized pic and upload onto the internet it and you can then use it by changing your profile. Failing that - email it to me ( mailto:bmw@kbannon.com - bmw@kbannon.com )
