Hi , I have a 2005 X3 M sport 2.0 D and when the car gets to 2000 revs it does not accelorate only very slowly until it gets to 2500 revs then takes off again, some one said its something to do with the particulate filter as its cleaing its self. but this is happening every day now ? any suggestions. thanks

Could be the turbo on it's way out?  It would be worthwhile getting it looked at professionally.

Hi i had a 320 d touring 2007 model and that happened with mine.I took it to my garage and he asked me if i had let it run low on diesel, which i had.He change the filter which he said was full of crap and it was fine.It run with no problems upto when i sold the car good luck hope it is only the filter.
