Do we have any E60 520d owners on the forum please ?

If so, would you be prepared to talk to a chap from the traffic answers forum who's looking at possibly buying one ?

Only buy it in auto, otherwise his left arm will end up the size of Geoff Cape's!  The 177 or there abouts bhp is only available over such a short rev range it makes spirited driving (BMW driving) very tiresome.  Provided it isn't inflicted with swirl flaps in the inlet manifold and the fuel pump holds together it should be o.k.  But it is a noisy car to be in.  Can he stretch to a 6 pot oil burner?  It would be much better....
