I have gone to Tatton Park for last 8/9 years

Last year all exhibiters could not leave until 4 PM. Some jobsworth in the health & safety? More erosion of our civil liberties. Will not going this year

Not being able to leave until 4pm has always been the rule for this and most of these shows. Anyone displaying their vehicle have always been made aware of this. Last year we had a big display of 26 cars and some people did insist on leaving early which upset the organisers.
This year shouldn't be a problem as we have only been given space for 6 cars. won't be much of a BMW representation sadly.
Mercedes and Jaguar etc will be there in force as usual, normally with about 50 or 60 cars each.

Well what can I say, despite the organisers only giving the club a small plot for six cars which meant an extremely limited display the weekend went superbly well with masses of visitors to the stand, lots of positive remarks about the cars on display, loads of queries from people re: joining the club and plenty of advice both sought and given.
Thanks to everyone who attended, displayed their cars, gave their time to talk to the visitors and mucked in and helped with the set up and dismantling of the stand.
To top it all off to the chagrin of the other clubs there, one of our members cars won the Best German sportscar trophy on both saturday and sunday so well done to Gerald McWhinnie and the Preston polisher Dave Brindle, top result boys.
Once again thanks for the support.

Cheers  Steve.
