Im after fitting the bigger inlet manifold to my 328 can anyone advise what exactly it entails and what i will need apart from the manifold to carry out the job cheers. -------------  Half Jock :-) |

I believe Alpina427 (?) on the E36coupe forum is the man to ask. He does big bore throttle body's to compliment the improved flow. You'll need an adaptor to fit the 328 throttle body to the M50 manifold. Overall, it's best to get all the parts as a kit from the same source. I'm told the complete conversion will cost around £400 + the cost of a remap (£250 from Tim E for BMWClubNE members). You'll gain around 25bhp or so. that is so not true IMHO If you of course run for every little worn-the-writing-off-the-face switch to the dealer, than yes. sure it's more than the rest of the e36 range, but not that much more. ------------- E61 520d, slow and buzzy but my wallet likes the mpg..... |
