Hi all,
I am the very proud new owner of a lovely condition 1995 740. It has a fitted BMW phone between the seats which I am trying to get working again. I have discovered it is blocked (to Cellnet I think) as If I put in my new Vodafone 2G card, it recognises it as 'Vodafone UK', but will not use it. I can get an unlock code, but only if I can locate the IMEI number. Typing *#06# does not work, and there is no IMEI number that I can see on either the phone or the box in the boot. Does anyone have any idea where the IMEI might be located? Or any other advice? be great to get it working again.
