We have the chance to have static display at knockhill race circuit on this day. It coincides with the SMRC race event one of which is the BMW compact cup. The racing starts at 11am but I would suggest we be there and set up for 10am at the latest.

Given there will be a lot of race cars and moving of same prior to the race times.

I need numbers of those wishing to attend.

We have the added bonus of our very own Hamish racing at this event.
PS it's free to enter your car which means display your car and spectate for free

Ok guys spoke with Hamish today. We need to be settled for 9. The guy on the gate has our tickets so those if you who might be late will need to contact me as I will take all the spare tickets.

We will be on hard standing near to the hairpin. The BMW compact cup boys will be out racing that day also. So meet at McDs at 8 leave at 08:15 sharp.

We might get a parade lap depending in accidents and clearing the track. But not guaranteed.

Should be a good day. See you there

@Steve61 - a common problem with the Z3 is the battery terminals working loose i.e. not making a good connection with the battery ~ have you got a voltmeter to check voltage?

Thanks Nero,
I can get hold of a voltmeter and I'll check that and the battery connections to make sure they are tight but the battery does appear to be fine...I think !!

Good wee day ooot despite the changeable weather as Cambell has already pointed out !!! Good turn out of cars guys & a visit from James (Ex-Scottish Region Chairman ) ...good to see you again buddy
Only down side was our very own Hamish , who we were all cheering on, being taken out not once but twice by unscrupulous tactics by other drivers who obviously hadn't read the chapter in his book (Trackdays , The Glovebox Guide) about "On Track Etiquette"
Hope you get it all fixed for the next round matey ...

thanks Gary for organising the day- good to catch up and have a chat and watch the racing - loved the open sports car class - that Focus was unreal - not something you say everyday!

Everyone's cars looked great despite the weather - clearly a lot of hard work had gone in on Saturday ! - and to be repeated tomorrow no doubt.

What a fab day! Thanks to Gary for arranging this event with Knockhill and after our usual carnage in trying to get parked we ended up in a really good spot where the cars got lots of attention. Shame about the weather but when do we ever let it stop us having a laugh and the Knockhill tea was pretty good for warming up!
As has been said already nice have 'MrBroon' join our stand and get a catch up with him!
I am currently uploading 204 photos onto the facebook page where I have created an album so feel free to check it out! Thumbs Up
