Hi I have a 2006 56 BMW Alpina B7 The cd changer and dvd changer Doesn't come on When you go on to the idrive it shows up faintly Put when you press on the icon Nothing happens Everything else works on the idrive Any ideas or solutions  |

If it shows feint in the iDrive it means you don't have that option available for selection.
Could be that there is something missing or broken in the CD/DVD changer or it is a programming issue. If the iDrive doens't know its there then it won't let you select it. Have you put a CD or DVD in the slot? My iDrive won't let me select the CD option unless I have a CD in the slot.

You were right CD Changer in dash now working   But DVD Changer still isn't  Thanks |

Can I ask, what the number is of your B7? So few sold here in the UK that to find another is quite a rare thing. ------------- we're the Sweeney son, and we ain't had our dinner..... |

not as yet, but possibly in the next few weeks. yep 11 only, that includes the 4 pre-facelifted cars that were sold here in 04/05. ------------- we're the Sweeney son, and we ain't had our dinner..... |

There's a pre facelift for sale on eBay and pistonheads I bit overpriced I see it at £12000 |
