The July monthly meet is a run to a new venue which I found last year. http://www.tentsmuir.org/content.php?content_id=24" rel="nofollow - Tentsmuir Forest .

I will be planning a route up to arrive at the forest by around lunchtime where you can either have a picnic or you can bring your own BBQ whatever prefer. I will bring along the usual tea/coffee, juice and crisps. This is also a family venue with woods and a lovely beach so bring the family if you want.
Car parking is still a £1 from what I remember. But there are good toilet facilities and picnic tables. Check out the website for more details.

You know the drill by now so I wont be posting the route on here but I can send it to anyone who wants to see it nearer the time. Just pm me your email address.

Plan for the day is as follows.....

Meet at Mcdonalds at the Forth Road Bridge at 9.30am for brekkie and coffee then leave for 10am.
Taking the planned route we will head up to Tentsmuir arriving around lunchtime.

If it makes sense to meet us en-route please let me know asap so I can plan it in the route.

Don't forget your cameras as this is a lovely place!!!

Well, it was a good day. It was especially nice to meet so many new people and their cracking cars. I'm sure Issy will be along with some photos.

Nero, we saw some photography today that you'd really enjoy, look forward to the results.

I saw them on Facebook, on the Scottish Region page - I would have liked to have seen the set-up.

I would have liked to have come to the meet, but when you were at McD's, I was still in my luxury apartment in Edinburgh City Center Wink

What as lovely day this turned out to be! Got to say I was slightly disappointed with the turn out at first when we arrived at the bridge. It understandable as its a busy time of year with holidays and shows but we started the day with just me, Cambell, John, Shamus and Mr T. Then Fraser arrived for his first meet along with Alex who was on the Oban run. We headed up the road with our wee convoy and after a tight squeeze through Tayport (don't ever go there on a Sunday!!!) we arrived at Tentsmuir Forest. My disappointment was unfounded as more turned up shortly after we arrived. George and Michelle were first to arrive then George and Carolynn and Ross appeared from up North just in time for a cuppa! Tentsmuir is lovely and if you have never been its worth a visit! The sun was out and it was warm with just a few drops of rain but not enough to write about. Thanks to everyone for coming along and hope you enjoyed the day and feel you want to come back! (But you all still have to meet Gary!!!!) Tongue
George had brought a drone and sent it up to get some great photos. (I will ask him to post them up later!) In the meantime here are some of mine.....not quite up to Nero's standard but will need to do as he was at his son's wedding, so we will let him off!!! Wink

There is more to come but my horrificly slow broadband is not coping!!!
