remember me? Wink i'm back in a BM Thumbs Up

i have been away from BMW for 15 mths or so, i sold my last E39 528i M Sport to make way for a 2003 Audi A4 TDi (which was faultless to own) but for the past 6 mths or so i had been looking for the "right" E39 .. to me the E39 is the best car BMW have built for main stream owner's

so like i said been looking for the right E39 which was a late model M Sport in either a 525i or 530i, so 6 mths of going looking at high mileage, un-cared for, in need of to much or just plain to over-priced for my budget i kinda started to give up on owning a good honest E39 for my budget?

until.. last Tuesday. I got told off a E39 on Gumtree (for sale or swap) i got in touch offered up my AUDI (no harm in trying?) for a swap, arranged to go see the BMW on Friday at 10am & by 11:30am i was driving it home

sadly not a M Sport but it is a late model 530i SE, 2003, 100K miles, toledo-blue metallic, amazingly mint interior, above average body work bonus features are: real AC Shnitzer alloy's, 4 brand new continentals & coil-over suspension, all fitted within the past few months.

now the bit everyone like's some shameless picture whoring

(ive yet to start polishing it)

Hi Gary.. i searched for 6 mths to find a good 2003 E39, this is honestly a cracking example.
had a few small niggles to iron out straight away but nothing major, it has 2 very minor rust spot's that will be taken care of in a few week's, the bonnet has been painted at some point to but i'm going to get it re-painted as the finish is not the best.
