Hello you lot down there.

I and others have been busy in the central region trying to get some stuff going, just thought I'd drop you a line, being as we border each other.

I know there are family based things that go on at weston super mud, kite days that sort of stuff.

You have some nice coastal area's down your way that would make good days out.

There was also a good walk/lunch day last year at cheddar I couldnt attend as my car was thumped.

I was just wondering if we could get some "cross border" interest going ?

Ok Guys, no response, so I suspect your local rep doesnt use the forum.

I found we have this problem in the Central region too, when I rang my rep I found that he had been trying to organise events, and had nobody turning up, so it seems some people read the mag properly, others tend to look on here.

Maybe one of you could give your local chap a ring, see if he is having the same problem, then if you have the time you could try and help by putting stuff on here for the forum biased amongst us.

Hi Nigel

I run the South West monthly meets at the Full Quart at Huish. I also help with the rest of the calendar. Our first show is BMW Sunday at Hestercombe Gardens 9th May and then our concours at Athlehampton 20th June. We also organised the Cheddar walk last year. The walk this year is in Minehead. David Leake is our chairman, he and the committee do most of the calendar. You are all wlcome to any of our meets.

Thanks for the reply Ron, I'll look at the minehead walk and give you a shout if I can make it.

I only didnt make the cheddar one as someone hit my car, badly,

Ironically my solicitor contacted me today, it happened on may 3rd last year, other driver uninsured, I'm told it could still be another 12 - 18 months before I see any money....good this insurance stuff I wish they could invent a camera to check insurance details !

See you at Rockingham !!
