The mag seemed a bit down on its usual bits-no E36 M3 section or E46 M3 section.

I thought the mag had more than ever..? Don't forget that it relies on club members to submit content - so if you want to see more in it then get typing

On the M Page of the same issue , is a request for register secretaries for E46 & E39 registers. They have been requested before, so everyone,s waiting for that other person to stand up---No articles!!!!! You had Mike to thank, for ALL those interesting reports, and info-he said that he needed a break, nobody Stood up!!!

the mag is undergoing a change, so there's more for all, I did a write up for the M3 e36's (had it in every issue till now) but they have re-orged it all!
Basically trying to fit in something for everyone and not just the M Power lot!

I have made an offer of writing something for the East Anglia Region to tell people about the website and this 'under used' forum....however no-one replied to the message.

Can someone tell me who is responsible for this region so I can write to them ?

While I am no longer on the East Anglia Committee and since Chris Wadsley, the current Regional contact does not have internet access, I am happy to act as a conduit between forum users and the magazine editor to get any interesting reports or event articles into the Magazine.
Chris can be contacted on 01553 810467 or 0787 9282009

The regional e-mail address was always on the previous pages that were printed so there has always been a way of getting articles submitted
Full contact details are also at the back of the magazine!

Looking at the past two issues I notice that the regional contact seems to have reverted to Alan Kirkaldy who is no longer either the regional representative or at the number given! The Club office has been informed on several occasions of this by both Alan and Myself but it doesn't seem to get through ???? I will e-mail them again with a copy to the editor.

The deadline for any articles you wish to put into the magazine under the EAR page (or section) is March 1st....... for the April/may issue so if you are planning any meets or the like let me know
If you can't make the next mag. deadline then e-mail your article or event news to Jeff Heywood for inclusion in the next Straight 6. The deadlines for this are slightly slacker though I guess those for the March issue may have already past.
If you do send me articles just send the text. Don't worry about fancy formatting as it gets reformatted in "magazine style" anyway, so don't waste your time doing nice fonts and justification etc.

You can e-mail me the articles in word pdf. or any other format and I will forward them on to Giles Aston the editor. or you can e-mail them directly to him at   giles@dexterity.uk.com
hope this helps.. my e-mail address for all club stuff is still bmwcarclub@east-anglia-region.co.uk
