Does anyone know of a good breakers yard in the Northwest, preferably around Warrington, West/South Manchester but that isn't really important.  I'm looking for an alarm control box for my E36 as the original is missing!!

If anyone has one for sale let me know!

What sort of alarm control box do you need? Have you a part number and description? I have a box full of new original BMW alarm components.

Great! I think its the Sigma alarm box, I've got the siren, led, wiring and even a satellite tracker but no control box!!

I'm not aware of the part number, would it be written down anywhere apart from on the box? The documentation that came with the car says its a System 2T / 3T or is that no use?

Thanks!

Sigma doesn't ring any bells (no pun intended ) but System 2T/3T does. They are all in a box at my girlfriends. I'll be there at the weekend so I'll have a look to see what I have.

Thanks Nigel, if you can track a box down and give me a price I'd be grateful.  Where do they all come from? Got some info that might help you though...

Just checked the siren and its a System 2T and its got a serial number on it 00-14554 and a part number 93.37.0.000.015, I don't know if that's any use as it's just the siren but you might be able to trace the control box?

I have 2 alarm control units. They are as follows:

82 92 9 404 786

and

82 92 9 404 791

The parts CD lists them as System III (whatever that means) and they are both listed for the E36 along with other models. I really don't know whether they are compatible with what you have. I think you might need some expert guidance on the specific unit you need.

Cheers Nigel, I'll get in touch with the electrical guy I use and see what he says.  Are they likely to be gone soon? I'll let you know thanks very much, roughly how much would you like for the box, if it is compatible with my system?
