I am desperate to get hold of the 10 x M12 (1.5mm pitch) crownwheel bolts and the 8 x M8 (1mm pitch) Limited Slip Diff plate assembly retaining plate bolts for a 325i sport E30.

I do not have a chassis number as the differential was purchased second hand and is not fitted in a BMW.  The differential is fitted to my rally - link to web site below.

I need these parts urgently.

Do know where I could get hold of these parts as BMW do not list them.

Thanks for your help

Alan

From the description you give of the bolts, they seem to be of an industry standard size and thread pitch, although you also need to know the overall length from underneath the head of the bolt and the grade (i.e. 8.8 stamped on the head).

Try any local stockist of nuts, bolts and fasteners (there's normally one or two on most industrial estates) and they should be able to help you out.

Good Luck.

If F1 bores you....try ASCAR.

I've been down that route already with no luck.  The standard thread pitch for a 12mm bolt is 1.75mm, I need 1.5mm.  Also the bolt is grade 12.9 which is also unusual.

These are not standard bolts.
