I've retro fitted an OBC in the sport! Everything works perfectly even the consumption is spot on and I prefer the earlier lower indicator stalk, only thing is I cant find where to plug the outside temp sender? The donor car had a big round multi pin plug & socket behind the N/S front pannel my 88 520 has the same socket ready to accept an upgrade but my 95 525 Sport doesn't. I didn't get the extra loom thinking mine would be different! Has anyone got the correct part No and where do I plug it into?

Cheers Warren

Did you only have the analogue clock originally then ? I was lucky in that my car had the digital clock and temperature display, an easy upgrade to the full obc .

As far as i can tell the output from the temperature sensor goes directly in to pin 5 on the obc connector (a blue/red/yellow wire). You should just be able to run a cable from the sensor behind the front bumper to the obc and earth the other connector on the sensor ?

Hope that helps.

Cheers Miles,

Yeah I only had the analogue clock! Gonna try and keep it factory looking if I can, the extra loom on the early one's seem to include other wiring (fogs maybee) as I already have fogs I'm hoping the later loom is just for the temp sender but I need to know where to plug it into (if I kew I'd probably make my own)

Warren     p.s. thanks for the demister link
