| hello.wondering if anyone can help me.My e30,m3 clutch pedal does not come back up,i can only put the car into gear when it is not running,there is a bit of pressure still at the bottom of pedal travel.I am thinking slave cylinder?.any ideas would be gratefully recieved. |

i am led to believe that e30 and e28 bmw's have an appetite for slave cylinders, had to do my 320 and m5 wont break the bank, under £20 from gsf. even if this isn't the problem will want doing sooner or later -------------

Try checking that the top of the clutch pedal has not broken, happened to mine about 4 years ago so a bit sketchy but symptoms sound the same. snapped bracket allows the master cylinder arm to slide slightly through the pedal before starting to push piston. worth a try
