hello.wondering if anyone can help me.My e30,m3 clutch pedal does not come back up,i can only put the car into gear when it is not running,there is a bit of pressure still at the bottom of pedal travel.I am thinking slave cylinder?.any ideas would be gratefully recieved.

i am led to believe that e30 and e28 bmw's have an appetite for slave cylinders, had to do my 320 and m5 wont break the bank, under £20 from gsf. even if this isn't the problem will want doing sooner or later

I'd be inclined to give an expert a call, such as Nigel Moseley 01952 503992, jolly helpful or Barney at Munich Legends maybe. I'msure they've both seen it all before!

Try checking that the top of the clutch pedal has not broken, happened to mine about 4 years ago so a bit sketchy but symptoms sound the same. snapped bracket allows the master cylinder arm to slide slightly through the pedal before starting to push piston. 

worth a try
