How would you like your own "SCOTTISH REGION T- SHIRT" with your name or your forum name stitched on & the scottish region logo ( the design of which we can discuss at our next meet )on???????. had mine made at a show i was at & the guy who own's the  Co has said he will give us discount for a bulk order. spoke to James yesterday & he has asked me to post this up to see if anyone is interested? if we do get enough interest  he will let us use his "paypal" account to gather the cash. what better way to let the members  of  the other regions at Gaydon know that " the scottish region " has arrived ? if interested please post a reply here . as to cost that will depend on the amount of interest we generate.

Logo on the front ok, BMW thing on the back nah.

I wish I had a working camera with me last Sunday, so as we could have had a picture (and another Caption Competition )

Providing that they end up reasonably priced, I'm also in

Just to give you an idea of the design, here is Shorty modelling said t-shirt.

I suggest we stick to the blue colour to keep the Scottish theme

had think about logo :- logo as top of this page but rather than the "BRITISH ISLES" have the "SALTIRE" & the wording "B.M.W CAR CLUB SCOTTISH REGION "  then your name  underneath & maybe "B.M.W " roundel on the sleeve??????  but open to other idea's ??????

Posted By: nero
Date Posted: 02-July-2004 at 20:31

If we want to keep the stitched type shirt, then complicated logos will be expensive.

Does the local supplier have any standard designs/logos which we could adapt e.g. the Saltire?

There is the official club/region logo.

Posted By: Pete330

What about

Then maybe your name on the sleeve in white also.

I am sure we could find a couple of dozen small scotland badges to supply to the t-shirt company to stitch on

The above one is available here

http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~scottk01/tar_goods.html - http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~scottk01/tar_goods.html

Additional text could be added around the logo (also embroidered) or on the sleeves, with, for example, the name of a supporters club on it (min 12 shirts). Also, using other club logos is possible (although an initiation charge will apply). For more information on this, send e-mail to the mailto:scottk@t-army.com - Tartan Army Home Pages , giving an indication of your requirements.

nice one Pete ...... IMOP i think we should go for the logo as "NERO" has posted .... when i called yesterday the woman i spoke to said if we were to make our own logo it would be £25 for the set-up that at present works out about £2 per person & still keeping within the £15-£17 price band & that logo would then be ours so any future stuff we get made ( caps, t-shirts,e.c.t) would not cost as much as we already had the logo made up. just a thought

These look great. Count me in. I've not been on here much, but I've been following this thread and would like one of these. For preference, Nero's design, and dark blue (Large for me, please!), but I'll happily go with whatever the outcome of the design is.

(P.S. I'm off on my jollies abroad with wife and kids for two weeks on 7/7. So, please don't fret if you don't hear from me about this again for a bit. I'll pay up! I promise!)

Hopefully I will have a sample by the next meet at the Hawes.

Knowing that you all have sensitive skin, I have followed Webdunk's suggestion and have gone for 100% cotton Polo Shirts. Each shirt will be customizable with your Forum Name

Once I get the setup costs, I'll confirm prices for the shirts.
