Hi All

I was the newbie in the Golf yellow 3.0csl. During our chats some of you kindly showed me the stainless manifolds from Frits' Bits.

Before I committed myself and the car...... I wanted to double-check on total cost (and experiences...). Please could you let me know - on mailto:magnus.mcdowall@btinternet.com - magnus.mcdowall@btinternet.com if you'd prefer to do it "off air".

Many thanks and hoping to see you next time - I'm confident I can pull in a few more CSLs...

Magnus

As far as i am aware they are about £450 for the manifold. That does not include fitting and it's £950 for the manifold and exhaust as a package in stainless steel

-I put a (rather long, sorry 'bout that) technical article post on the bigcoupe.com website all about my recent experiences with this system.

-I don't have a lot more to add, except that if I had found an equal branch length manifold that I knew was going to fit and definitely wasn't going to cause other problems, at a reasonable price, I would definitely have seriously considered it.

-as it is I've done about 1000 miles on my complete system so far and it has worked jolly well.

-if you have any specific queries please let me know.

cheers
