Hi Everyone,

Nearly 12 months ago I bought a 1979 730 (Topaz Brown Metallic!). MOT and tax run out at the end of this month and I'm desparate to sell it. The car's done an apparently genuine 89,000 miles but as a result of being stored for a few years there's a bit of rust knocking about (nothing structural). There's a slight fluid leak on the steering box but everything works fine and its really good to drive.

A potential buyer asked me to have it compression tested a couple of weeks ago and everything's up to scratch in that department.

I need to sell the car as I bought a house at New Year and that needs my money more than the car does!

Can anyone give me any leads of potential buyers as I will probably have to scrap the car come July? I've had adverts in Autotrader, Loot and other places but with no success.

Cheers

Ian

Ian

Send me through the details, I know someone that may well take it, I can't promise though as he has been looking for a while. Where abouts are you.

I'll send you a mail/pm.

Andrew
