Probably been dealt with before, so apologies, Has anyone converted a 1991 6 cylinder 730SE to LPG ? and if so, With what kind of results ? At what cost ? Where? etc. Was it single or multi-point ? (Seems like a big difference in prices between the 2).

Just got a J Reg with 58k on the clock in excellent condition. Seems great but idle tickover at about 1,000 rpm. Is this high ?

Love the car. Hope it keeps going and going ...

There seems to be difficulty is converting the M30 engine, when I was looking into it I could only find one place that would do the conversion and it was in excess of £2k when everything was taken into account. Most reputable places would do the M70 V12s and M60/2 V8s but not the M30 6s said they were troublesome and warned against.

I did hear of one person that by all accounts did successful conversions for the M30s and though have not seen a converted E32 M30 of his, I have seen a few other conversions he did and the owners were very happy with them. If you follow Cab325girl’s link for the E32 forum do a search for LPG, he used to be on there last year and his contact details.

Your idle is too high check the ICV, look for air leaks and or vacuum leaks.
