Dear members / owners.

I have a 1990 635.
I am in the process of cleaning the engine bay.
There appears to be a yellow wax on the top of the engine
cover which is cominf off.
What is this?
Should be taken off and or replaced.
If so how?
Stephen

This was merely the protective wax which is finally succumbing to age. When it all finally falls off, you can stop worrying about it; it doesn't stop your engine from working....
