Anyone got any advice as to how i should de-lock my m3?
I assume the rear handles from an e36 saloon will fit on my doors, thus removing the locks, but when looking inside the doors, the lock mechanism etc looks very complex, i dont want to remove something i may later need!!!
Also what is holding the handle on and how are they removed?

If you're going to do it then get a professional to do it.

I was told to use an offside door handle and cover from a USA spec or other Euro spec car as this'll be the passenger side on that car but is designed to fit your car on the correct side.

If you delock completely then you've got to think what you'll do to get into the car if your alarm fob battery packs up. The advice I was given was to leave the locking mechanism intact in the door yet run a live cable to operate it from the boot.

I'd hazard a guess and say that a lot of thieves may well have sussed this and go straight for your boot.

so does that mean the rears will not fit the front? id at least want to take the passenger side off as its one less point of entry

as for the battery dying, cant access be gained from the boot? i have fold down rear seats....

AFAIK the folding mechanism is accessed from the inside of the car not the boot.
