GAYDON 2004

Well it is that time of year again where we are looking for people to attend what is arguably the best event of the year!

The plan is as it was last year, we will head down to Gaydon (Warickshire) on the Saturday. We will then get ourselves booked into a Hotel (or similar, still tba) have a good meal and head off to the pub to see the high heed yins from the club and have a good chat.

Next day it's on to the show (10 mins away) to have another great day of seeing cars, buying
parts and meeting folk.

If your interested, as I know many of you will be judging from how great last year was, pls send me an e-mail and I will start to get a list together.

For those who missed out last year. I will, on receipt of your monies, go and book us all into a Hotel (usually £27.50 each with two sharing, but I will have to confirm this) and also get the appropriate tickets for the show, which are £10 each and can be purchased online via our regional web site http://jwestwood.demon.co.uk/bmwcc/meets/2004/aug/gaydon.html - here , just click on "Buy Now".

If you are in any doubt about coming I suggest that you look at our web site and see how we got on last year, click here http://jwestwood.demon.co.uk/bmwcc/meets/2003/gaydon/ - 2003 Scotland Region Pics and here http://www.nrobinson5.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/bmw/bmwindex.htm - Neil Robinsons Pics - and select Gaydon 2003.

Pls send me a message via e-mail or tag a message on here stating that you are wanting to attend and I will get back to you

Here's to another terrific Gaydon event!

I'm going down James but may stay at my folks, though it has not been confirmed. My car is being used for the M3 display. Maybe travel down as well.

Latest would probably be two weeks from now Pete as we need to organise accomodation and even now it's a bit late for that. If you are willing to run the risk of no accomodation or finding your own then a sensible date would be the next monthly meet on the 25th of July.

Quick question

Presume we travel back on the Monday ?

and is there anyone on the Fife side wanting a fuel paying passenger

and or second driver, I don't fancy driving down as a single

1) Pete don't do anything yet we may get a discount for bulk.

2) Claymore, we travel back on the Sunday evening after the show, it means more people can make it down. I'd offer you a lift but my car should be full of BMW parts and even though your paying half of my fuel you'd probably be cheaper taking your car, seriously!

James I don't care as long as I don't have to share with Miss Piggy again.

Seriously though if you could wangle a family room for me the daughter of "satIn" and my 2 boys I would be most appreciative. If not then 2 twin rooms will do. Price doesn,t really matter as lond as I don,t need to take out a mortage to pay for it.

P.S. my tenner is already in, I gave it to Dunc at Moffat.

Malcolm you are welcome to gadge a lift off of me as my missus and kids have chickened out.

Either PM me or e-mail me and we can sort out where to pick you up or someone can pick up in Fife and jump in mine when we meet up at Bothwell services.

I'll take you up on that offer I'm in Dalgety Bay (St.David's Harbour end)

James will make a payment for the Gaydon ticket tonight

Anyone offer a lift to and from Bothwell so I can meet up with Gary ? (or stop off at Junction 1 M90 either at Rosyth or Inverkeithing ?)

Thanks

Blame me -  I did a quick route map in MS Autoroute. I think this allows for a few Ctrl/Alt/Del's and a couple of re-boots on the way

I live in gt yarmouth so i will travel to the event on the sunday morning rather than needing a place to stay.

I'l be passing on the kilt mate, it's gonna take me all my time to get the car ready for tomorrow, I'm currently running round like a blue ***** fly trying to get a new battery for the car as the old one (1 year old and £89) has failed, still that's what warranty's are for, however nearest one is in Henry Bros, A6 to the rescue again!!!

Got some top photo's done last night of the car by Tom, Hamish may be coming if we can find him somewhere cheap enough to stay so any thoughts pass them on as I'd love for him to be able to make the show.

I'll be off the air for a while now but you know how to get a hold of me Dunc.
