Hey everybody, this was in my pistonheads mail,

http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=8706

Is anybody else going, it seems like a good price for the whole day, and it is the International circuit 2.4 miles.
I will probably go, it will be my first track day! Does anybody have any tips or advice?

It would be great if some other BMW were there.

Regards
Luke

P.S. I am sure all the guys that went to the Nurburgring, are ready for some more track time, I am not missing that trip next time round!

Check the usaual, oil, tyres, wheel nuts,  brakes,  lights,  wipers, fuel, brake lights, indicators, steering, seat belts, skid lid. No loose objects in car or boot.

Get there with plenty of time, suggest you arrange for an instructor to take you around for a few laps so you can get to try and learn the circuit, and get use to the enviroment.

Most important, drive within your limits and don`t try and follow or race anybody as it mostly ends in tears. keep a look out for faster traffic approaching and let them past.

But most of all, Enjoy yourself.
