Hi

I'm going to remove the front and rear bumpers from my 1992 730 (de-chromed) and would be grateful for any guidance on how to do this.  It's not immediately apparent where the bolt points are and I'm hoping to get some clarification before I do damage.

Also, I'm going to remove the side sill cover (side spoilers) but cant see how this is done without breaking the clips.  Again, all help greatfully received.

Many thanks

Barry

On the top of the bumper remove the headlamp washer covers, the trim strip (in your case shadowline) is removed by pressing the centre tab on the four locators and slide off. this reveals two T60 from memory torx bols remove them and then slide / pull the bumper toward you. Travel is around 100mm and it locates on a slide at each side and two large impact absorbers where the T bolts are.
You will then need to disconnect the headlamp fog lamp washers and fog light wiring.

Easy to do but better it you have company as they are flamin' heavy LOL.
