OK. I have set up more forums. Should I set up any more? e.g. for the Mini? Furthermore if you have any comments for the website, please post them here.

Thanks
Killian

sites looking great Killian  , we just need some nice traffic now , I hope this will be advertised in the next issue of the BMW car club mag ,

A quick thought, how about a "off topic Forum or general forum " , for everyone to discuss what ever they want (within reason ) , kinda of a  forum where all makes and models of BMW owners etc.., can chat

:)

before anyone gets the wrong idea, all praise for the site must go to Howard Walker.

With regard to setting up an off-topic forum, it is underway.

Killian

Great forum, came across it tonight, Maybe you should have a bigger banner on the club main page or send a e-mail to members whom you have there e-mail address. I have started e-mailing all the members that I know about the form. Good work lads.

Hi Guys,

Great idea, BMWLand.co.uk was taking most of our traffic as it was handy and did the job, I'll ensure that all the Scottish Lads know about this site so we can trasfer our traffic your way.

ATB,

James Westwood

Glad to see the BMW CC forum finally up and running.

'fraid my first comment's a touch negative... can we lose the animated GIF (http://www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk/forum/forum_images/logobmw.gif">http://www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk/forum/forum_images/logobmw.gif) at the top of the forum? (a) IMHO it's naff and adds nothing. (b) it's a bit large for us poor 56kbps users @ ~17k!

Great forum - works well. My congrats to all who do the work!

I also use the Lotus Seven club forum, and their main areas are:

'chitchat' and 'technical' with 'wanted' and 'for sale'

This makes for a simpler structure, I wonder if the multiplicity of model specific forums will spread the posts too thinly?

A 'for sale and wants' would be handy, as would 'off topic'

About time we had this running, well done to all concerned!

Well done - I like the look of the forum

A couple of suggestions

Surely the best place for the link to the forum is on the main link bar on the left hand side of the bmwccgb web-site? This would make it available all the times and get rid of that horrible animated link.

Any chance of having Zed's under a separate heading, so that they are all grouped together ?

I'll give it  out of 5

Please keep these comment flowing. Until the forum was up and running, we did not know just what you would like. Killian has done the forum work and I write the web site. I take the comment about putting the link on the main menu, and have been meaning to revamp the animated section for some time, as it limits what can go on the menu. For the moment, we will listen and ogitate, taking notice of your wishes. If you have a major grouse, please let me know at mailto:h@635csi.co.uk">h@635csi.co.uk

What do you think of having a link from the main menu tri-pole?
