Hi to all

thanks for looking!

when cornering (more so when turning left) i get a 'rubbing/ticking noise coming from the rear (drivers-side more) wheel or drive shaft area, which seems to coincide with the revolution of the wheels turning, i.e. it increases as i speed up

any ideas ?!

cheers

jon.

 hi jon,

checked the obvious? wheel bearings, rear axle beam bushes, one other problem that only occurs when using longer wheel nuts is if too long they rub on the abs sensor, have you fitted non bmw locking wheel nuts?

                  cheers mark

Used to have a creaking sound with my BBS RS 3 piece wheels on the Maser, but only audiable at low speeds with the window open.

The centre caps will fret against the wheel centre in a certain position.

Try taking the cap off. I put a small piece of foam under the edge and stopped the creak.
