I had one these on my last 93' 525, it was a manual, the wheel I have on the car now is the kinda "4 spoke" idea, with the horn buttom on every "stalk".

Did someone fit the one in the pic to my last car.

The seller says it fits the E39, but like I say I had one mine (E34), or it because it's diffirent fitting's but basically the same wheel.

Anyway one know

I think the one in the picture was fitted to later cars or as an optional extra ?

Like I say my last 525 was the same year as the one I have now, so do you think he got it somewhere.

But what about this E39 carry on! as mine's the E34.

The BMW ETK (parts system) describes the steering wheel in the picture as a "Sports Steering Wheel" so either it was installed as an option by the supplying dealer or removed from a "donor" vehicle....IMHO the best steering wheel for the E34 is the M-Tech Sport Steering Wheel..But i would say that

I don't think it would fit the E39 as they all have airbags and most i have seen have steering wheel mounted stereo/phone etc controls.
