no this is not a joke.......thought i'd have a go at something simple.....tried to change the dipped headlight bulb on my 530 touring E34.....it seems you are meant to unscrew the back of the headlight unit...thing is it wont budge .....do i use brute force or is there a very expensive bmw tool i have to use....any help appreciated and i promise to make the next enquiry more interesting......cheers ....jasper ------------- [img]http://jasphotos[/img/ |

The only way i could remove the covers from my headlights was to completely remove the headlight assemblies from the car and then spray loads of WD40 around the edge of the covers ! I don't think the bulbs had been changed in 13 years, fortunately i was replacing all of the headlights and installing the angel eyes anyway
