I have a Mk2 sat nav system with a 1998 cd and I want to upgrade to the 2004 version. It looks like the cd will cost £120 odd from a main dealer, and I have seen some advertisied on ebay for a bit less. Will these ones work, and is it simply a case of loading the new cd? Help please, I keep going off the registered road network with the current cd

You should be able to upgrade check http://www.x5world.net/navfaq.htm - Here for further information on the different software versions and systems.

Thanks for the info, it looks like I can upgrade so I will get into the bidding war now. Ta for your help.

On the site i linked to above it mentions a yahoo group which provides links to download the latest navigation data
