I have booked a rake of webspace for all of our videos, etc and we are now at http://www.BMWCarClubIreland.com - www.BMWCarClubIreland.com .

At the moment there isn't anything really there, except the bones of a gallery system - why not http://www.BMWCarClubIreland.com/gallery - try it out and let me know what you think.

It would be a nice idea if we could get a few cling window stickers like the guys at e36coupe for promoting the club or stickers with the web address to cover the part of the reg surround that has the dealer name on it.

I'll look into it Killian.

Does anyone think this would be a good idea.Would people pay €1 or €2 euro for a set?

i think it is a good idea and am willing to cough up a few quid for them

The more dicreet the sticker and classy the font the better - but I assume you won't be producing a foot-deep visor for us!! (if you do, allow room for 2.8 24V Straight Six at the side, alrigh', feen?)

you uploaded a photo direct from your camera, ie you didnt resize it I presume.

You need something to be able to alter the size [width and height] of the files and maybe also compress the files [the ability to reduce the physical file size without affecting the quality of the photo]

Download http://www.download.com/3001-2192-10288818.html - IrfanView , a free and relatively easy to use editor - only 800KB download). When using it (& because I assume you will be practising initially) when you change a photo dont click 'save' - always use 'save as' and rename the photo to something else. That way if you make a mistake, you still have the original.

Furthermore, it had been set to a 1MB upload limit. That is now at (a reviewable 5Mb limit). Robbie, you recieved an error message about your limit because after 2 large photos, you used had already up 981KB out of 1024KB (1MB) and another photo would have made it about 1300KB which then, wouldn't have been allowed but now is!

Nice one Richie.

Its good to get the pictures up so people can have a look. The seats are quality alright, was delighted to get black interior as any car i'd seen b4 had grey, not so tasty.

I saw nothing except for your front end disappearing into the distance in my rear view mirror - was going too quick in my wife's car when I passed your M5. (didnt think the 1.1L 206 was quicker than the M5 but there ya go!)

On the number plate surrounds, there's a company in Galway called O'Reilly signs who might do them.  091-756670.  They've done number plated and card holders for me in the past.  I think the guys name there is Donal.  Nice to deal with.
