Topic: Do i need 5mm spacers on the front?? Posted: 23-December-2005 at 07:47 |
Thanks everyone for the comments and help......
I thought when i got the wheels i would see if they fit.....and without spacers or longer bolts the wheels went on without a problem and there is loads of clearence between the Brake calipers and the wheel.........
I will post pics as the car looks bloody awesome.
Just need it to stop raining in Manchester so i can have a nice sunny pic so the wheels glisten.
Thanks again
Nic

Phew..I'm glad you posted that....all these posts about centering rings and spacers had me worrying...I've got the E31 wheels and none of the above either!! |
I was looking through the old pics of the girl and miss her after seeing them again.

For me at £300 the set it was worth it ![](smileys/Approve.gif)
won't pay the silly prices the M3 Ones sell for on Ebay £800-£1000
and all just to spin into the gravel at paddock hill bend ![](smileys/biggrin.gif)

buy the correct wheels
Centre bore doesn't fit AND no spoke clearance. I am sure it can be done better.
If you work the money out for the spacers and the longer wheel bolts, are you sure it still was a bargain?

Lots of companies do longer bolts Demon Tweeks etc, Main dealers will only do std length bolts
5mm spacers were fine on mine, i just use 7mm so they will also fit my track wheels
