It's one of those cars from those small independent car makers, it looks like a Spyker but it isn't. Edited by 635CSi |

Did a numberplate check and it came up without a make/model but it does say it has a 3947cc engine and was registered in 1990.

I've seen that Black Maybach a few times on Dawson St. It belongs to some developer but I can't, for the life of me, remember what his name is. Can't say it looks anything much for a quarter of a million quid car. Saw an F355 in the Pavillions in Swords yesterday. The middle 5 was missing from the badge and the car just looked too scruffy to be true. Think it may have been an MR2 in F355 get up. Didn't see the interior so can't be sure. |

There was something about the Maybach 62 in the Irish Times Motors supplement recently (here...). They are the bigger and more expensive version but yoou can have one for 693,000. The 57 is UK267K so after converting to Euro, accounting for more VAT and throwing 33%VRT on the retail price, it weighs in at a lot more than a quarter of a million. I see them frequently when at work (in Stillorgan). I see absolutely nothing inspiring in them! |

Me either. But then I think they are a very passenger focussed car. What did Simon Cowel say on Top Gear? "You'll never get bored in a Maybach" or something. Edited by flyingalexf68 |

When I was going down to Ballyvaughan (see the other thread for what I did!) on Friday. I saw near Daingean Co. Offaly what looked like a Bently estate I did not think such a car existed. It looked to be a current model. |

Just being looking at some pictures maybe it was a Chrysler 300C Touring. Only got a brief glimpse as it came against me.

Can I add another couple to the list?! I was out Saturday on my Hayabusa and there must have been a Ferrari gathering at or near Silverstone as the A43 was awash with Ferraris! I dont know all the models but I did recognise the F40 and an something which looked like an Enzo from the front but not the rear? |

[QUOTE=gjoconnor92] Just being looking at some pictures maybe it was a

Pamelas brother was contemplating getting one. He's still thinking about what to buy. He sold his Dodge Ram two months ago because of all the grief people were giving him about the size of it and the 5.7 V8 killing the planet. If he buys the 300C it will have the same 5.7 V8. |
