Following all the PMs I've received on this forum and on e36coupe.com, Sunday the 24th it is.

Any suggestions for the location?

I thought that was the whole idea but if the weather is crap we can't unleash the ponies as TJ would put it. Is there an abandoned airstrip down there

Evening all,

It's very hard to arranged a date, even almost impossible,

to say the least, without somebody not been able to make it. The 24th seems to suit the majority of people.

Correct me if wrong, but I think that we have been trying to get this meet organised for what , three months or more, now if we go changing the date again, who knows we may not get another meet

this side of christmas. So............. are we still on for next weekend

24th ? anyone come up with a meeting place and time.

SorryAdrian/Tom no pun intended.

Lads,

It's been suggested that we keep to a fairly similar route to the last time as we have so many newbies on the run ending up with a few (non-alcoholic) drinks at Inchadonny, but we are still open to suggestion.

Sunday the 24th is the date of choice.  If people are interested I will enquire with Kevin O'Learys if we would be welcome to meet there, otherwise i think we'll meet at the usual spot.  Please PM me for the meeting point.

@Tom:  Sorry about the date.  As Neil said we've been trying to find a date that suits everyone for the last few months.  As it happens, even though I've played a part in orginising both ithis and the last Cork meet, both weekends didnt exactly suit me either.  This weekend hase worked out the most popular.  As Adrian suggested, you'll get vito on the dates next time.

See you Sunday!

KenG

Hi Guys
Sorry I'll not be able to "pop" along, it's about 8 hours drive from Belfast, lol plus it's my birthday, would have been a great present to meet up, but hey, maybe the next track day. Have a good one.

If you guys want to meet up at the same point as last time, that suits me just fine. What time suits most people. I was thinking of 1 o'clock but obviously open to suggestions. Inchadonny sounds good for a few scoops (non alco.).

Good to see all the old group will be back again, even Finbarr (how could I forget). Will be interesting to see how his paint job turns out. Are the silver flakes just for the Christmas Season, or all year around

CONFIRMED:

Charlesfort, 1 pm, Sunday 24th Oct '04

See you all there.  (I'll PM everyone that showed an interest as soon as I get a chance)

We can decide on the route on Sunday.  (Anyone with satnav yet?)

@KenA:  Will Finbar have the respray done for Sunday?

@Topazman:  I'll bring the digital camcorder so we'll have video footage too.  There might be a reason KenA has bald rear tyres.  I'm starting to sound like a boy racer... NNOOOOOOO!!!!!

I miss me beemer!

Finbarr is not too sure if the car will be ready for Sunday but if not, he'll be along in his e30 325.

The bald tyres were off the front from my tracking being so far out. Might just put them on for Sunday !!! Then again maybe not ....the last thing we want is a trail of boy racers and flashing blue lights !!!!

Rgds,
Ken.
