I have to concure, Great, day, organistion top notch (it was also the case in october though!), the weather was just perfect and the turn out great. Burgers were top qualitry, props to Richie!

I just need to find few extra ponies, upgrade the shocks to bilstein, loose a bit of weight (on the car) and I should be able to hold my ground against the M gang. I was a good bit faster than the last time with better lines and no ASC!

The only thing missing was few E30's M3 but some very fast one nonetheless especially one of the white one (323 bauer?!)

Waiting for october for the last event seems like a long way, might try to find a good date in between, although I am not to keen on going on open track day!

A very tasty and thirsty machine I bet, the TVR sounded the best coming down the track straight it was like a bomber plane

Hey Guys,

I was wondering where i could post some photos of the track day. The long track is so much better than the short one and a lot more interesting.

Thanks

Hi Mark,
post them here http://www.bmwcarclubireland.com/gallery but you'll have to register again on that site to create an album.
Or here http://www.bmwmovies.net/

I hope everyone enjoyed their day out. I think most drivers were behaving sensibly despite a few offs. Mondello were pleased with the behaviour anyway.

The International Circuit was just amazing compared to the previous sessions on the National. Was initially a bit wary about heading downhill at speed (~90mph) into the double right at 'tarzan' but I had no problems there. My road tyres also fared well and didn't need to resort to my 'track wheels'. Only real problem of the day for me was performing an amazing gearbox crash as I passed the main straight

Hopefull the registration process was more efficient than last time - if we can improve it then let us know.

Richie McDonald did a great job on the BBQ. Top notch food!

Now - do we want another day out in Sept/Oct???

If you have any pics or vids for the site then email them to me or Richie.

I'm finding it very hard to post as i'm still pissed off that i could'nt make after waiting such a long time since the last one, looks like it was a great day with some lovely machinery.......as for the AC cobra.....pure class!

Well done to everyone for making it a success and increasing the interest in the club. Looking forward to seeing some more pics

Well lads, fantastic day! some great driving and have to say had some great laps around there. One session behind Alpine M3 was fab in particular; I wish I had a camcorder in the car as we were lapping quite close and it was great to watch the M3s rear move around on braking into the bends, the squirm under power etc. Some really nice cars, & some great driving.

Again special mention to the guy in a navy E36 323i coupe who caught me, & taught me a decent line through Tarzan - a very smooth pilot who made the most out of his car and encouraged me to explore the limits of mine to keep with him - cheers for coming over & saying hello after, too!

The burgers were fantastic aswell, & well needed when I eventually had one (or 2 ) - I was so wrapped up in the driving I forgot about the grub!!

If anyone has any shots or movies of me in my green 95 DL 328, let me know - I'll pay for getting a copy!
